I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
